Bicycle Day, celebrated annually on April 19th, commemorated the historic day in 1943 when Dr. Albert Hofmann experienced the first intentional acid trip, famously riding his bicycle home from his laboratory. The recent sold-out PORTAL event honored this day with an unforgettable experience headlined by the internationally acclaimed DJ RY X and featured performances by artists like Boreta, Swayló, and Vivian Koch. Attendees enjoyed roaming performers, magic by James Lopez, and sound healing. The event also marked the launch of PORTAL’s psychedelic membership club, which will host monthly gatherings in Denver. Collaborations with DoubleBlind Magazine, Good Trip Studios, and the Ram Dass’ Love Serve Remember Foundation highlighted the event’s significance. Entry was free with an annual PORTAL membership, and we welcomed over 1,000 new PORTAL members.
